Well we decided to go on one last adventure before school started and we are so happy we did! It was absolutely beautiful and we had a blast!!! It was great! There was a gorgeous little lake where we went fishing! Lots of little trails that we went hiking on! Beautiful streams that the kids played in and most importantly a campfire that we roasted marshmallows on! Well the most important part wasn't really the marshmallows.....It wasn't even the fact that we got to stay in my Dad's fabulous 5th wheel! (Although it was a close 2nd! Thanks Dad!) It was simply the fact that we got to be a family without the TV, without the Laptop, or the other Laptop, or the other Laptop! lol We got to enjoy each others company without any distractions! It was awesome! One of the days we drove down to Rockport Reservoir and rode on the wave runners, it was a lot of fun because some total strangers let us use their tube and the kids got to go tubing! They had a great time! Mike was able to take each of the girls fishing, but only Oaklee was fortunate enough to actually catch her first very own fish! She was so proud and so were we! lol She even helped him clean and gut the fish! YUCK!
I can't wait to go back! This was seriouly the best camp ground ever! So scenic! I took soooo many pictures!!!!
